8 Freight Cargo Bike
Available in two versions - 8 Freight (as seen above) with 8 speed derailleur gears. Also available is the Black 10 - a deluxe version of the 8 Freight - made in England with XT derailleur transmission - see picture below.

Standard 8 Freight Bikes are due in the the Spring. These will be made in Taiwan By producing the bikes in Taiwan 8 Freight are able to offer the bikes at a much lower price (but with the same quality) meaning for around £1500 (tbc) you can join the UK Cargo Bike revolution!
The 8 Freight and Black 10 will come with a range of carrying options such as a sturdy wicker papoose with seatbelts for children and a tough but lightweight, hinged-lid container for carrying cargo, parcels, shopping and more.
The 8 Freight is a true all-round bike - capable of being used to run a business - windowcleaners, florists, pizza delivery....It's also safe and comfortable for transporting your children and is also a great bike to replace the car on shopping runs and other errands to collect/deliver large items.
20" wheels are very strong and manoeuvrable and the light aluminium frame is strong but gives the bike a feel akin to a 'normal' bike.

About the designer.
Mike Burrows might not be a familiar name to most windowcleaners and mums or dad but ask any cyclist who he is and they will say; "the bloke who designed Chris Boardman's Gold Olympic Medal winnning bike". They'd be right too! Mike burrows has designed many bikes and builds many bikes too including the 8 Freight, Recumbents and other HPVs (Human Powered Vehicles). Buy a Black 10 and it will be built by Mr Burrows himself in his Norfolk workshop.
