Taga is a machine that can make your life simpler with it's supreme Practicality but it can also enhance the bond between you and your precious children.
If you regularly take your child/children on short journeys for example to playgroup, nursery, childminder, shopping, to the playground or to meet friends then you probably make a 3 mile or less journey by car. There's probably a cumbersome stroller in the boot too?...Picture this...
...It's a nice sunny day - a little too far to walk and you don't fancy one of those low-down - out of view trailers behind a bike either.
Problem solved, take the Taga. A gentle ride through the park, on the cycle path and you reach the playground with a bit of effort but not so that you are dripping with sweat, a gentle workout. Your one, perhaps two children are up front in their comfortable, safe cocoons in the Taga.
They play on the swings for a little while but not too long as you're off to the shops soon to get some rations - back on the Taga...
...You reach the shops by pedal power and your two little ones, exhausted through play and fresh air, are asleep. You unhook their seats in one simple touch, effortlessly flip the Taga back wheel over on it's pivot and replace the child seats. Presto - your Taga is now a stroller - into the shop you go...
...Your bag of shopping fits nicely on the Taga carrying tray and you flip the back wheel back to resume the Taga in tricycle mode - you sail along and point out the wildlife to your children on your journey home. The car is sat on the driveway - will you ever drive it again?

Life after children
Owning a Taga isn't a temporary thing - it remains a Practical mode of transport when your children become old enough to ride their own bikes.
Coming in early 2010, Taga have developed a detachable shopping carrier that fits in place of the child seat. So, you can go to the supermarket by Taga Tricycle, fold the back wheel over and push your own stylish trolley around the supermarket then ride it home! And of course it can still be ridden as a bike by all the family thanks to it's adjustable height seatpost!
Buying a Taga from Practical Cycles
We understand you will want to come and try this amazing bike that will bring you closer to your children and immerse you and them in the community that your car separates you from.
You can test ride a Taga and look at the available accessories any time at Practical Cycles. We operate a by-appointment basis so that we can give you our full attention but without a hard sell - the Taga sells itself. Simply call or e-mail us to arrange a time that's convenient for you - even if it is in the evening. We'll bring the Taga to you if you live within 20 miles of our premises (FY8 4BX). Bring the family, after all, that's what it's about!
We have a quiet back lane in which you can familiarise yourself with the Taga and then, if you like, we can head further afield onto the traffic-free cycle path along the picturesque River Ribble estuary.
Tagas come direct to Practical Cycles from Holland and usually take 3-5 days for delivery. They come in a large box and require some assembly and safety checking prior to use. As part of our service we will assemble your Taga (provided it isn't being shipped) and deliver it for free if you live within 20 miles of us. We deliver ready-to-ride Tagas within the North West for £30.00. We will ship Tagas to the UK mainland for £30.00 - these require assembly but Tagas come complete with a very detailed and easy to follow instruction manual.
